Photos from my Sept/Oct 2003 trip to Romania
This was a research trip for two paranormal historicals, COME TO ME and DREAM OF ME, Sept. and Oct. '04, respectively. And no, there are no vampires in these books! They are set in the years just before Vlad the Impaler (a.k.a. Dracula) was born.

A peasant couple, in their front garden. Bill will send them
a copy of this photo, and our guide tells us that
when his letter comes from America, the couple will be the
topic of village conversation for many weeks.

she wove, and which I bought. Usually she sells them
to villagers, as they are a popular gift for new brides.
